Many factors can influence the condition of jewellery. Therefore you should make sure that your jewellery is properly cleaned, repaired and stored. Take care to avoid extreme humidity or heat as this may cause tarnishing. This will keep them looking their best.


Please follow these steps to ensure your beautiful jewellery lasts a lifetime.

Silver Jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimise these effects.

We recommend removing jewellery when you shower or bathe and particularly when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.
Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly onto your jewellery.
Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight, and avoid wearing your jewellery when using bleach.

To protect your jewellery, pieces should be individually placed in a pouch or within a soft lined box to stop them being scratched or tangled. Ideally store your jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place, and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don’t rub together or tangle up.

Using a soft, lint free cloth is an effective way to keep silver, 18ct yellow and rose gold vermeil jewellery looking shiny and lustrous. A silver cleaner can also be used to clean sterling silver pieces. Ideally, store silver pieces in an airtight bag to help reduce tarnishing. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.

Since many gemstones are quite delicate, hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. We advise cleaning your precious stones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing. Very porous stones such as turquoise and emeralds should be cleaned using an untreated, dry, soft cloth only. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean gemstones as they can cause scratching.

Cord Bracelets
The best way to clean cords on our friendship bracelets is to occasionally wash the cord with a mild soap in lukewarm water.

We do not add Nickel to Fervor Montreal Jewellery, however there can be trace amounts in some of the metals we use in our production which could lead to low levels being present in some of our pieces. These levels are tested regularly to ensure they are low enough that most people will not have a reaction. A small number of people who are hypersensitive may suffer a reaction.

Please note that due to the social distancing measures that are in place at numerous warehouses and despatch centres, our delivery times are sometimes a little longer than the usual 2-3 days.

If you are an overseas customer then different shipping rates to those above will apply depending on your country and size of order. If your country is not listed simply add your products to the cart in the normal way and email us using the Contact Us form. We'll then email you with the exact delivery costs and details on how to pay.

Returns Information:
Everything we send out is looked at, inspected and carefully packed by someone who cares.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for any reason & you don’t have to give a reason……but if the goods arrived faulty we’d really like to know so that we can punish the warehouse!
